Exhibit of Art by Joe Oswatt
A special exhibit of work by artist Joe Oswalt is being held during June at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art at 201 S. 9ᵗʰ, Marysville. A feature of the exhibit includes Oswalt’s restoration of the interior of St. Mary’s Church in 1980- 83.

The restoration project was cited by the Kansas Alliance for Preservation in 1982. In 1983, the Kansas Legislature passed a proclamation lauding the work by Oawalt at St. Mary’s Church. Joe and Anita have both passed; the exhibit is a tribute to the work by them and others at St. Mary’s Church.

The gallery is open Sundays from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.; Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.; Fridays from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. It should be an interesting visit.
